BOUSHER - On Wednesday, December 11th, UNFPA, the Statistical Centre of Iran (SCI)’s Statistical Research and Training Centre, and the Statistical Society of Iran, jointly organized a conference in the Southern Iranian city of Bousher on, “Analysis of Census and Labour Force Statistics.’

TEHRAN – On December 5th, the UNFPA Representative in I.R. Iran, Dr. M. Hulki Uz, met with His Excellency, the Minister for Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare, Dr. Ali Rabie, to discuss their respective organizations’ activities, priorities, and potential areas of collaboration. Dr. Rabie is a sociologist and professor, and has written several books and publications on sociology and social and cultural challenges facing society.
