Biography

I earned my PhD jointly from the University of Padova and the University of Paris Denis Diderot. I am currently a research associate at SLAC working on high-energy/particle astrophysics. I am analyzing data for the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope and developing instrumentation for the next-generation ground based gamma-ray observatory, the Cherenkov Telescope Array. My scientific interests include the origin and propagation of cosmic rays, supernova remnants and pulsars, diffuse gamma-ray emission, high-energy phenomena in massive-star forming regions, and the tracers of the interstellar medium at all wavelengths.
