Josh’s studies center marginalized communities through the lenses of identity, art, and resistance, bringing interdisciplinary inquiry to explore how minority groups challenge systems of oppression. Diasporic narratives, transnational issues, sociology, the relationship between collective trauma and cultural memory, questions of political agency and policy, and other such cognate fields are integrated into a dynamic analysis of intersectionality, marginalized groups, and the mechanisms of self-definition and coalition-building.
