Through May 16
This collection presents the unconventional ways in which artists such as Claes Oldenburg and Roy Lichtenstein have created multiples in sculpture and other media.




RefugeLonging for Sea-Change
Through June 26
The second film, Seeking Refuge, in this series of video installations by contemporary artists living and working in Africa and its diasporas, was made by Berni Searle in 2008. Learn more about artist's talk by Berni Searle on February 11.



LAST CHANCE
LobdellFrank Lobdell Figure Drawings
Through February 21
An exhibition of approximately 60 figure drawings in ink, pencil, crayon, and wash from Lobdell's weekly drawing sessions in the 1960s and 1970s, which he used as a springboard to develop his vocabulary of abstraction.

Symposium: Performing the Modern: The Politics of Culture and the Arts in Early 20th-Century China

An international symposium on Chinese art in conjunction with the exhbition Tracing the Past, Drawing the Future: Master Ink Painters in 20th-Century China, co-sponsored by the Center for East Asian Studies.

Musical Performance Series: Elegant Gatherings
Thursdays, February 18, April 8, May 27, 7:30 pm discussion, 8 pm performance
Elegant gatherings is an ancient term used to describe a gathering of scholars and artists who come together to share their knowledge, deepening friendships as they cultivate their respective scholarly and artistic pursuits.

Art Focus Lectures: For members and non-members to expand their knowledge of art through lectures, seminars, and workshops with faculty, curators, art experts, and artists. Fee, with a discount for Cantor Arts Center members. Upcoming lectures include: The First Modernists: Cezanne to Picasso, The Art of Curating, and Art Deco.
