Medvedev talk to be webcast live at 4 p.m. today

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's talk at 4 p.m. today in Dinkelspiel Auditorium will be webcast live. Tickets for the talk have all been distributed. Medvedev also is planning to visit Silicon Valley businesses before meeting with President Obama in Washington, D.C., later this week.

Junipero Serra 'traffic-calming' project funding approved

The Santa Clara County Supervisors have approved funding for a long-proposed 'traffic-calming' project for Junipero Serra Boulevard that is designed to enforce the speed limit and reduce the number of accidents on the heavily traveled section between Campus Drive and Santa Maria Avenue. The funding was recently announced by Supervisor Liz Kniss.
