Diane Peck to leave Stanford after seven years leading HR

Diane Peck, vice president of Human Resources, announced Tuesday that she will leave Stanford. Peck, who has led Human Resources since 2003, has agreed to stay in her post until a successor has been named. Among Peck's accomplishments was the creation of leadership development programs.

Faculty Senate to hear report on Intercollegiate Athletics

Linguistics Professor Tom Wasow will present a report on Thursday to the Faculty Senate on the work of the Coalition on Intercollegiate Athletics, an alliance of faculty senates from the Division 1A football schools in the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

BeWell: Help Stanford win Pac-10 Fitness Challenge again

Track your exercise minutes to help Stanford defend its title in the Pac-10 Fitness Challenge, an exercise competition among the universities in the Pac-10 conference. Stanford has taken first place in each of the last three challenges, and the BeWell@Stanford program hopes to help our campus retain the title.

You don't need to bring a bike to the two-hour class, which is sponsored by the Health Improvement Program. It will take place today at 5:15 p.m. and costs $40. Register online.
