Holloway weighs in on U.S.-Russian nuclear treaty signing

With an April 8 date set for the United States and Russia to sign a new nuclear arms reduction treaty, each country is slated to cut deployed weapons by about 30 percent. David Holloway, Spruance Professor of International History, talks about the treaty and prospects for further reductions.

In a world where teachers struggle to make Homer and Melville come alive, two Stanford professors decided to take matters in their own hands. They teamed with other scholars to make a CD with a twist: it features characters and situations from great classics, set to their own music and lyrics.

The game was a bit of a nail biter, but the women's basketball team held on to beat Oklahoma 73-66 and advance to the finals of the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship in San Antonio. Nnemkadi Ogwumike scored a career-high 38 points.
