Scientists develop new way to grow adult stem cells

Researchers at the medical school have developed a technique they hope will help scientists overcome a major hurdle to the use of adult stem cells for treating muscular dystrophy and other muscle-wasting disorders. Skin color a factor in offers, price of goods sold online

Online shoppers are more likely to buy from a white seller than a black one, according to a study by two Stanford researchers who posted ads on local classified advertising websites. Each ad contained a photo of either a dark- or light-skinned hand holding the latest iPod nano.
