Robert Sinclair named Bing Overseas Studies director

Robert Sinclair, the Charles M. Pigott Professor in the School of Engineering, has been named the director of the Bing Overseas Studies Program, succeeding Norman Naimark, the Robert and Florence McDonnell Professor of Eastern European Studies. Sinclair starts in his new position Sept. 1.

Nine receive Deans' Award for Academic Accomplishment

The Deans' Award for Academic Accomplishment was recently given to nine undergraduates for exceptional, tangible accomplishments in independent research, national academic competitions, a presentation or publication for a regional or national audience and superior performance in the creative arts.
