- Lively Arts’ 2010–11 season begins Wednesday:
Grammy-winning Kronos Quartet will be joined by the Peninsula-based Cantabile Youth Singers on Wednesday, Oct. 13, to launch Stanford Lively Arts’ 2010–11 season. The program, titled Awakening, is a musical meditation on 9/11 and features works from 12 countries. At 7 p.m. there will be a free discussion with Kronos' David Harrington, Lively Arts Artistic and Executive Director Jenny Bilfield and Cantabile Artistic Director Elena Sharkova.
