The McMurtry Building, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, will be a new home for the Department of Art and Art History and an interdisciplinary hub for the arts at Stanford.

  • Stanford Energy System Innovations work begins: Construction work throughout campus has begun on the Stanford Energy System Innovations project. Visit the website for information on the location and timing of projects.
  • University Committee on Health and Safety annual meeting: The University Committee on Health and Safety will hold its annual public meeting on Tuesday, June 26, at 5 p.m. at the Environmental Safety Facility on Oak Road. Committee chair Mark Hlatky, professor of health research and policy and medicine, will describe the committee's charge and review activities over the past year. There will be an opportunity for questions and comments regarding health, safety and environmental management at the university.
  • New website dedicated to retirees: The Stanford Emeriti Council recently unveiled a website dedicated to university retirees and employees preparing to retire. Visit the new website.
