Students guide women from prison to entrepreneurship

A pro bono Law School project helps women recently out of prison launch their own businesses. Project ReMADE, which stands for Reentry: Making a Difference through Entrepreneurship, was founded by Stanford law student Angela McCray, right.

Senate to consider proposals on new breadth requirements

The Faculty Senate on Thursday will consider two proposals designed to implement the new non-disciplinary undergraduate breadth requirements. Judith Goldstein, chair of the Committee on Undergraduate Standards and Policy, will present one of those proposals.

Martin Amis, controversial author, coming to Stanford

Martin Amis is famous for his sharp, inventive prose and barbed comments. The British author's next novel is about a violent criminal who wins the lottery. During a visit May 7, he will hold a daytime colloquium and an evening reading.
