BiblioTech, a program created at Stanford to promote the pertinence of a doctorate degree in a humanities discipline in academia and professional sectors beyond academe, held its second annual conference in May, bringing together current Ph.D. candidates in the humanities, faculty, Silicon Valley business leaders and venture capitalists, and others, including the author, with humanities backgrounds and interests.
