Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies produces an array of programs for academically talented young students everywhere. Our programs are available online and in-person, during the summer and year-round, and feature broad exploration or intense study in a single subject. The choice is yours!

Summer Programs

High School Summer College

Stanford High School Summer College offers Stanford University  credit to high school students ages 16 – 19. Become a Stanford student for 8 weeks during the summer and take university courses with other Stanford undergraduates in classes taught by Stanford professors.

Pre-Collegiate Institutes

The Pre-Collegiate Institutes are programs for high school students looking for academic rigor and fun during the summer! Our programs offer a variety of subjects, including intensive study of the humanities, mathematics, and the arts. Learn from experts with peers who share your passion!

Online High School

The Stanford Online High School is an accredited independent school, grades 7 – 12, for academically talented and motivated students. Be a part of a global community of students and learn from exceptional teachings in a real-time online classroom. Customize your education by being a full-time, part-time, or single-course student.

On Campus Enrichment

Enrich your academic pursuits during the school year on Stanford University’s campus. With the Math and Science Circles, Silicon Valley locals can attend weekly sessions for elementary, middle, and high school students. The Stanford Science Conference is an weekend event that takes place at Stanford for high school students from around the world who are interested in science.

University-Level Online Math & Physics

University-Level Online Math & Physics courses bring motivated and academically-talented high school students together to allow them to explore their intellectual passions, studying directly with expert instructors. These online courses are offered throughout the year and are largely self-paced, and giving the opportunity to take a broad offering of math and physics courses not typically offered in secondary schools.
