The 2016 Interview Committee decided that, while flyers and information sessions are great, it's hard for Stanford students to imagine what it would be like to work at Stanford Sierra Camp for a summer! So what did we do? We brought SSC to Stanford's campus! Here are some highlights:
SSC's very own Conference Sales and Marketing Director, Morgan Marshall, Head of Housekeeping, Jan Schlereth, and Conference Staff Director, Matty Hayes, set up Omelette Bar in White Plaza and served up delicious eggy creations for everyone who stopped by!
We tried our best to make White Plaza feel like Camp by setting up a tent...
...lounging on boat dock chairs, and playing some volleyball.
We even "wakeboarded" using a skateboard, bike, rope, and, of course, life jackets! Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures, but don't be surprised if you see us skiing around campus again someday soon. All in all, it was a great day for reuniting with old friends, making new ones and spreading the word about camp!
