Since the late 1980s Uganda has rebound from an abyss of civil war and economic catastrophe to become relatively peaceful, stable and properous. Even in face of this changes with a population of 31.9 Million (UN 2008) and an area of 241,038 sq kilometres the country still faces challenges with poverty, the AIDS epidemic and insecurity.
