Two Urban Studies Faculty Members Named to AAAS
Professor of Education Emerita Milbrey McLaughlin
Two Urban Studies affiliated faculty members were recently named to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, one of the country's oldest and most prestigious learned societies. They are:
- Milbrey McLaughlin, founding director, John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities; and David Jacks Professor Emerita of Education and Public Policy, Stanford Graduate School of Education
- David B. Grusky, the Barbara Kimball Browning Professor in the School of Humanities and Sciences; and director, Center on Poverty and Inequality
