Regulations issued by Federal agencies

Federal Register via the Government Printing Office

The Federal Register provides a uniform system for making available regulations and legal notices issued by Federal agencies. These include Presidential proclamations and Executive Orders and Federal agency documents having general applicability and legal effect, documents required to be published by act of Congress and other Federal agency documents of public interest.

Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) via the Government Printing Office

After publication in the Federal Register as a final rule, regulations are then codified in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). The Code is divided into 50 titles which represent broad areas subject to federal regulation. Each title is divided into chapters which bear the name of the issuing agency and then further divided into sub-parts covering specific regulatory areas.
