Previously, I attended the University of Chicago where I received my BA in Cultural Anthropology. I am currently interested in the dialectical formation between technology and personhood. I intend to research how the utilization of technological devices, in habitual and concrete practice, work as technologies of subjectification. Specifically, I am concerned with questions of the embodied self and how technology makes assertions that shape how we understand and experience our bodies.
