Hiring Prospects Improve for M.B.A. Grads in 2011

This brief article was in today’s WSJ and represents positive hiring news. There’s also a general mention of current MBA compensation at USC.

So far, only 20 GSB students have reported their compensation and other job details, but I’ll be glad to pass along summary details when we reach a critical mass–say, about 75 students.

To report your job details, first update your job status by clicking Status under Employment Reporting at the top center of My Career Dashboard. After you save your job status, you will return to the Dashboard’s home page. Just click Report New Offer (green button) and complete the brief survey.

Besides helping fellow GSB students, reporting helps the CMC so we can do a better job of helping your classmates who are seeking a job. We focus our employer outreach based on the needs of individual students, so it maximizes our resources to know which students have already accepted a job.

All individual compensation data is completely confidential, of course.
