Research Interests

  • Numerical optimization, numerical linear algebra, linear/nonlinear programming, sparse matrix methods, iterative solvers.

  • Algorithm design/implementation for constrained optimization, sparse linear equations, sparse least squares.

  • Multiscale optimization problems in systems biology.

  • Please note that I am unable to offer internships or postdoctoral positions outside normal PhD admissions to Stanford.
