Steel thyself, for the Jonas Brothers have broken up
The Jonas Brothers are now just actual brothers. The trio has dissolved its musical brotherhood “for now” and is embarking on a trio of (probably middling) solo projects. The JoBros broke the news to People, saying that the move came after Nick, the youngest, expressed that he was feeling “trapped” in the trio. Quoth Nick, “I needed to share my heart with my brothers.”
The New Jersey-born Jonas Brothers rose to fame in 2005 with their Disney Channel show. They’ve sold millions upon millions of records to impressionable young fans, and have even earned a Grammy nomination. One of the brothers, Kevin, now has his own E! reality show, Married To Jonas, with his wife, Danielle.
