The Instructional Materials Funding Realignment Program (IMFRP) requires local education agencies (LEA's) to certify that instructional materials for Grades Nine through Twelve they locally adopt in the four core content areas of history-social science, English/language arts, mathematics, and science are aligned to California's grade-level content standards, adopted by the California State Board of Education in 1997 and 1998 (Education Code Section 60422). The Nine through Twelve standards maps on this Web site are in a standard form created and approved by the State Board of Education and are tools for determining this alignment.
