2014 Season (Junior):
• Named Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
• 148th at Stanford Invitational (25:33, 8K) in only race of the season.
2013 Season (Sophomore):
• Made his collegiate cross-country debut at the USF Invitational, placing 29th in 26:57.3 (8K) at Golden Gate Park.
• Also placed 151st at the Bronco Invite (26:02.1) and 23rd at the Doc Adams Invite (25:29, 8K).
• Named Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2012 Season (Freshman): Did not race.
Track and Field: Holds a personal best of 3:52.73 in the 1,500.
High School:
• The Washington 4A state champion in the 800 meters (1:53.16) while at Gig Harbor High School, the alma mater of former Stanford teammate Miles Unterreiner.
• Helped the Tides win Washington's Class 4A championship and become the first team from west of the Cascades Mountains to win the state's large-school classification in 25 years.
Personal:
• His father, Danny Drinkwater, was a member of Nike's Backside Track Club in Eugene in the early 1980s and was a training partner of Olympian Mary Decker Slaney.
• Majoring in economics.
