2014 Season (Sophomore):

• Earned All-America honors by placing 39th at the NCAA Championships (top 40 become All-Americans) in Terre Haute, Ind.
• Ran 30:55.5 (10K) as Stanford's No. 5 runner.
• Was the top true freshman or redshirt freshman at the NCAA Championships.
• Ran in six meets in first collegiate cross-country season.
• Finished higher at nationals than he did at regionals, placing 40th at the NCAA West Regional (30:18.2, 10K) at Stanford Golf Course.
• 26th at Pac-12 Championships (24:20, 8K) as Cardinal's No. 6.
• Seventh at USF Invitational (25:26.5, 8K) to open the season.
• 23rd at Washington Invitational (24:02, 8K) as Stanford's No. 4.
• 123rd at Wisconson Invitational (24:47, 8K) as team's No. 7.

2013 Season (Freshman):


• Finished third at the 2014 U.S. junior national championships at Flatirons Golf Course in Boulder, Colo., as part of a 1-2-3 Stanford sweep.
• His time was 25:26 over 8K (4.97 miles).
• Placed third to win a bronze medal at the NACAC junior championships, helping the U.S. to the team victory in Mount Irvine, Tobago.
• Ran in one race unattached during the fall season.
• Was sixth at the Doc Adams Invitational in Davis, Calif., in 24:25 (8K).

Track and Field:

• Ran personal bests of 14:11.53 (5,000) and 3:54.87 (1,500).
• Fifth at the 2014 U.S. junior championships in the 5,000 (14:33.81).

International:

• Placed third to win a bronze medal at the NACAC junior championships, helping the U.S. to the team victory in Mount Irvine, Tobago.

High School:

• Won the Nike Cross Nationals in Portland, Ore., to complete an impressive senior cross-country season in which he won the Ohio Division 1 title and was sixth at the FootLocker nationals.
• One of two runners in the nation to place in the top 10 in both the Nike and FootLocker nationals.
• Was named the 2012 Gatorade Ohio Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year.
• In track, was fourth in the two mile (9:00.43) and fifth in the 5,000 (14:33.09) at the 2013 New Balance Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, N.C.
• Both times were personal bests.
• His 5,000 time was the fifth-fastest high school time in the nation.
• Won the 2013 Ohio Division I title in the 3,200 in a personal record 8:56.61.
• Second in the 2012 Ohio Division 1 3,200 final in 9:01.24.
• Fifth in the 2012 New Balance Outdoor Nationals in the 5,000 in 14:46.
