Freshman Season (2014): 

• Did not race officially.
• 47th at Stanford Invitational (24:42, 8k) while competing unattached.
• First in the Bronco Invitational open division (24:31.1, 8k) while competing unattached.

High School:

• Placed third in the 1,500 meters at the 2014 New Balance Outdoor Nationals, running 3:51.40.
• Advanced to the 2013 FootLocker Cross Country Nationals, placing 27th in 15:51.
• Qualified by finishing eighth at the Northeast Regional at the famous Van Cortlandt Park course in the Bronx.
• As a senior at St. Albans School in Washington, D.C., won both the Interstate Athletic Conference and Maryland/D.C. Private School cross country titles.
• Earned back-to-back Gatorade D.C. Cross Country Runner of the Year awards, in 2012 and 2013.

Personal:

• A talented singer, Dinger annually performed in school ensembles and the spring musical at St. Albans.
• Achieved Eagle Scout status with the Boy Scouts of America.
