Home Sweet Home
Stanford is 79-27 at home under head coach Johnny Dawkins. Stanford finished 12-4 at home in 2013-14 and reached the 10-win mark for the 21st consecutive season. Additionally, the Cardinal has achieved a 68-23 overall record against nonconference foes during Dawkins’ tenure.

Protecting The Basketball
Stanford has excelled at taking care of the basketball, with its 77 turnovers ranking seventh-fewest in the country. Only six schools (Cal Poly- 45, Ohio- 73, East Tennessee State- 73, Northern Colorado- 75, Duke- 75 and Houston- 75 have committed fewer miscues.

Team Effort On The Boards
One of the unknowns entering this season was how Stanford would perform on the glass following the departures of eventual NBA Draft picks Josh Huestis and Dwight Powell. So far, so good. The Cardinal is averaging 39.6 rebounds, a mark that ranks fourth in the conference. It’s been a team effort on the boards, led by Anthony Brown’s 7.9 per game. Four of Stanford’s five starters are pulling down 4.0 rebounds per game.
