- Ran his first 400-meter hurdle race at the Big Meet, placing fourth (55.01).
- Achieved his personal best of 54.78 while finishing second at the West Coast Last Chance Meet in San Francisco.

- Made collegiate debut by finishing second in his heat in the 600 (1:23.04) and running the third leg on the runner-up 4x400 at the UW Indoor Preview in Seattle on Jan. 17.
- Ran in four meets, running the 400 twice, the 200 and 600 once, and three 4x400 relays.
High School:
- A 2014 graduate of Hellgate High in Missoula, Mont.
- 2013 and 2014 Montana state Class AA 300 hurdles champion.
- Took first (300H), third (400), and fifth (200) at the 2014 state AA meet.
Personal:
- Brother, Christian Segota, won three jumping events and scored 37 points at the 2007 Montana state meet for Hellgate, and competed in the decathlon at University of Montana.
- Parents are Don and Kathy.
- Has an older sister, Lauren.
- Coached 10- and 11-year-olds as part of the Missoula Youth Track Club.
- Anticipates majoring in computer science with an interest in computer software.
