STANFORD, Calif. – The first home race for No. 12 Stanford men’s rowing will be on Friday at 5 p.m. against No. 8 Boston University.
The Cardinal will be competing for the second time in 2015 after opening the year at the San Diego Crew Classic last weekend. Stanford came away with a first place finish in the 3V8, third place in the varsity eight and fifth place in the 2V8.
The Terriers will race for the first time after the first scheduled competition was postponed due to weather at Brown last weekend. BU did have an exhibition with Syracuse at Clemson, S.C. on March 14. The Terriers finished sixth overall in the points standings at the IRA National Championships last year.
The two schools did not meet in any spring races a year ago. The last time the two institutions squared off against each other was at the IRA Championships in 2013 when both varsity eights were in the petite final.

There will be two races at 5 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.

Directions
The race course is located at the address: 3 Lagoon Drive, Redwood City, Calif.
From US-101 take the Ralston Ave. exit and head East. The course will be 0.6 miles on the right hand side.
