STANFORD, Calif. - The “Inside Stanford Sports with David Shaw” radio show returns Tuesday at 7 p.m. PT on KNBR 1050 AM. The one-hour program will be hosted by Cardinal football play-by-play announcer Scott Reiss.
Future scheduled dates are Sept. 29, Oct. 20, Nov. 17 and Dec. 8.
Shaw will be joined on the program by senior linebacker Blake Martinez, junior tight end Austin Hooper and senior inside linebacker Craig Jones.
Martinez, a management science and engineering major, is one of six team captains, and made a career-high 14 tackles last Saturday against Northwestern.
Hooper attended De La Salle High School in Concord, California, and is majoring in psychology. He caught five passes against the Wildcats to share the team lead.
Jones, a management science and engineering major, is a former walk-on from Modesto, California, and earned a scholarship during preseason camp. He worked his way up from the scout team and now contributes on special teams.
