TUCSON, Ariz. – Senior Rosco Allen and junior Marcus Allen scored 16 points apiece, however, the Stanford men’s basketball dropped a 94-62 decision to No. 18/16 Arizona Saturday afternoon at the McKale Center.

With the result, the Cardinal completes the regular season 15-14 overall and 8-10 in the Pac-12. Stanford will be the No. 9 seed in next week’s Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The Cardinal will play at 12 p.m. PT on Wednesday (March 9) against eighth-seeded Washington.

Rosco Allen scored 12 of his 16 points in the second half of Saturday’s contest. His streak of 23 games with at least one three-point field goal was snapped as the senior completed the game 0-of-8 from three-point range.

Marcus Allen collected 10 of his 16 points in the second period.  

Humphrey did most of his damage in the first half with 10 of his 14 points in the opening 20 minutes. He fell one rebound shy of his sixth career double-double with nine rebounds.

Arizona’s Gabe York scored a career-high 32 points, shooting a blistering 9-of-14 from beyond the arc on Senior Day for the Wildcats.

Arizona shot nearly 55 percent from the field and nearly 50 percent from three-point range in the second half, scoring 54 points in the final period to extend its lead.

Stanford shot just 2-of-21 from three-point range, while Arizona finished 18-of-36 from beyond the arc for the game.

The Cardinal kept it close early on, before Arizona used an 11-2 run midway through the first half to open a double-digit lead.

The Wildcats led, 40-24, at the half.
