STANFORD, Calif. – No. 2 Stanford returns to action after a two-week break that included final exams as it pursues its fifth Mountain Pacific Sports Federation title Saturday at 4 p.m. (PT) in its home venue of Burnham Pavilion.
The Cardinal (13-1, 5-1 MPSF) claimed MPSF championships in 1993, 1995, 2009 and 2011, and went on to win NCAA Championships in each of those seasons.
Stanford has been strong all season, spending every week ranked in the top-three in the country. The Cardinal has broken the 440-point mark three times this season and has finished first in every meet except its head-to-head against No. 1 Oklahoma in Norman, Okla.
