Course: Approving Financial Transactions (FIN-0103)
Who should take this course?
Required for all staff who will be approving transaction in Oracle Financials such as travel and business expenses, requisitions and iJournals. This course is required for both Requisitions Approval Authority and Expense Journal Approval Authority.
Pre-requisites:
- FIN-0400: Traveling for Stanford (required)
Course objectives:
Learners will understand the responsibilities associated with approving financial transactions at Stanford including:
- Roles and responsibilities of an approver
- Government, sponsor, and University conditions and restrictions that apply when approving transactions
- How to use workflow notifications and view backup documentation
- How to apply Transaction Approval Checklists to a transaction
