Matias Bruzoni, MD

  • “There's nothing more rewarding than successfully operating on a child and bringing happiness to a family.”

I chose pediatric surgery because I enjoy being around children and because it's a broad specialty where I'm challenged every day. That challenge comes with a great sense of reward; it's very gratifying to see children do better.

I have three children of my own, so I understand what parents are going through. I understand their fears, how they are feeling, and what it means to deliver your child to another person's care. It's a true honor to be a pediatric surgeon and earn the parents trust because parents hand over their children to you so you can take care of them. There's nothing more rewarding than successfully operating on a child and bringing happiness to a family.

Working with children brings you back to your roots, who you are as a person. I feel we all have the same mission around here — we all enjoy being around children and caring for them.
