The theme of this year’s symposium is “A Bridge to the Future: How innovative healthcare technologies drive successful transitions in the continuum of patient care”. With the exponential growth of technology being used within health care, this year’s Symposium looks to explore the impact this technology has on both patients and health care providers. Technologies are used throughout the care continuum, and include such things as personal health trackers, electronic health records, innovative hemodynamic monitoring devices, applications for do-it-yourself home diagnostics, and the evolution of real-time analytics. Health care is quickly changing and the use of technology can be especially impactful to patients, families and health care providers. This year’s Symposium attempts to explore the impact technology is having on health care. Download and print the abstract submission form. >
