NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OPERATING AND CAPITAL BUDGET
FOR FY 2016/17

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Clerk Administrator of the Town of Los Gatos has scheduled a PUBLIC HEARING on TUESDAY, MAY 17, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. to consider proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2016/17 Preliminary Operating Budget and the Capital Improvement Program for years FY 2016/17 through FY 2020/21 for the Town of Los Gatos. The staff report to the Town Council and any related documents will be available for public review three days prior to the meeting in the Community Development Department and Town Clerk’s Department at 110 E. Main Street; the Town Library, 100 Villa Avenue, during regular business hours; and on the Town’s website at www.losgatosca.gov. INTERESTED PERSONS are encouraged to attend and speak at this public hearing.

NOTICE OF DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
TOWN OF LOS GATOS
SUBJECT: A DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT (DEIR) HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AND IS ON FILE IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT AT 110 E. MAIN STREET.

PROJECT LOCATION:
The 2.15-acre site is on the northwest corner of Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and Alberto Way. The westerly rear of the site is bordered by a wooded strip of land and the on-ramp to northbound State Route 17. Access to the project site is provided on Alberto Way. Assessor’s Parcel No. 529-23-018.

Requesting approval to demolish three existing office buildings and construct two new, two-story office buildings with underground parking on property zoned CH. APN 529-23-018.

The DEIR is available for review at the reference desk in the Los Gatos Town Library, located at 100 Villa Avenue; the Community Development Department and Clerk Department, both located at 110 E. Main Street; and on the official Town of Los Gatos website at www.losgatosca.gov/401-409AlbertoWay.

Public comments must be made within 45 days of the date of this notice, no later than 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2016. A public hearing to receive comments on the DEIR is tentatively scheduled on June 8, 2016, in the Town Council Chambers located at 110 E. Main Street.

Requesting approval for a Conditional Use Permit to operate group cooking classes (Cucina Bambini) with beer and wine service on property zoned C-2. APN 510-45-014. PROPERTY OWNER: Ronald M. Tate. 2) 101, 111 and 121 Albright Way – Architecture and Site Application S-16-013. Requesting approval to construct two elevated pedestrian bridges connecting the third levels of Buildings 2 and 3, and 3 and 4 on property zoned Albright Specific Plan. APN 424-32-038 and 424-32-060. 3) 19 Highland Avenue – Architecture and Site Application S-15-077. Consider an appeal of a decision of the Development Review Committee approving an Architecture and Site Application to construct a new single-family residence and remove large protected trees on property zoned HR-2½. APN 529-37-033. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Ed Pearson. APPELLANTS: Badame, Roberts, Smullen, and Spalding Families. PROJECT PLANNER: Marni Moseley.

Information concerning the above applications are on file in the Community Development Department at 110 E. Main Street, and available for public inspection during regular public counter hours 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; and the Town Library, 100 Villa Avenue, during regular business hours.

The staff reports to the Planning Commission will be available for public review three days prior to the meeting in the Community Development Department from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Town Clerk’s Office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the Town Library, during regular business hours; and on the Town’s website at www.losgatosca.gov.

All persons interested in said applications are encouraged to appear at the public hearing and be heard. If anyone wishes to challenge the action on the above applications in court, they may be limited to raising only those issues they or anyone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
