WIPO's ARDI Programme Joins Research4Life
October 13, 2011. WIPO has joined the Research4Life partnership, which enables free or low cost online access in the developing world to vital scientific research, making WIPO's ARDI (Access to Research for Development and Innovation) the fourth programme in the partnership. READ MORE

2010 New publishers: Earthscan joins Research4Life
June 2010. Earthscan is the latest publisher partner to join the Research4Life initiative, as the world’s leading publisher of books and journals on sustainable development and climate change. Now researchers and academics in eligible developing countries can access a selection of Earthscan development journals through the Online Access to Research in the Environment (OARE) and the Access to Global Online Research in Agriculture (AGORA) programmes. Research4Life launches website
July 2, 2009. Research4Life launched a new website (www.research4life.org) to act as the public face of the Research4Life partnership for journalists, partners and institutions considering joining one of the programmes. It will include news about the programmes, information on the partners and participating institutions, testimonials and case studies.
Funding Renewed
June 2009. The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation have renewed funding t support the OARE project for a three-year cycle from 2009 through 2011.
