Welcome, in the name of Christ, to University Lutheran Church.
At UniLu, the theology is progressive, worship is contemplative, the welcome is radical, justice is central, Christ's table is open to all.
We are a grace-filled community of disciples, seekers, devotees, skeptics, questioners, exploreres, sinners, saints, scientists, poets, artists, students, teachers, wanderers, wonderers, gay, straight, secure, insecure, speakers, listeners, young, old, confident, confirmed, curious, concerned, hopeful, hopeless, open, opening - all children of God. We are a congregation designated by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America as a campus ministry congregation, and are made up of neighbors, commuters, students, staff, faculty, singles, families, friends, and alumni.
Christ is present in our gathering, is attentive to our prayers, is calling us into service, is the one who binds us together, is the one who calls us to justice, peace, grace, and love, and is the host of this meal; Let there be no barrier to the table of the Lord.
You are welcome here - welcome to bring your doubts, your hopes, your questions, your longing for community and honesty, your search for worship and connection - welcome to bring your real self. There is a place for you at this table. Wherever you are in your faith journey, you are welcome here.
