On April 8th, 2012 Larry Marshall, a Stanford Law professor, discussed the ending of the death penalty, with a particular focus on the current effort to repeal the death penalty in California, the State with the largest number of death row inmates. Much of Marshall's scholarly work has focused on issues surrounding the application of the death penalty, and he is a recognized expert in Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility.
