Updates

AUGUST 2015

EPA is proposing a plan to clean up dioxin-contaminated sediment and riverbanks in Segment 3 of the Tittabawassee River. Segment 3 is a 4-mile stretch of the river starting about seven miles below where the Chippewa River meets the Tittabawassee River, downstream of the Dow Co. plant in Midland. Find out more about the plan by reading the Segment 3 proposed plan fact sheet, response proposal and proposed plan tables and figures.
