Regional Clearinghouse

ABAG is the regional coordinator of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) environmental review process in the Bay Area. ABAG publishes and distributes the CEQA Log bimonthly to notify local governments and other interested parties about projects requiring an environmental review.

As part of the required public comment process, Environmental Impact Reviews for all projects of regional significance in the Bay Area should be sent to the Regional Clearinghouse.* Please send hard copies or CDs to the Association of Bay Area Governments, ATTN: Regional Clearinghouse, Po Box 2050, Oakland, CA 94604.

*as directed by the California Code of Regulations, (Title 14, Chapter 3. Article 7, Section 15087).

The CEQA Environmental Review Log CEQA

lists projects of regional significance in the nine Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma.

The Intergovernmental Review Newsletter Intergovernmental Review rss feed
lists projects that are receiving Federal financing. These projects are also made available to afford local participation in federal activities occurring within the Bay Area.

Anyone interested in development in the Bay Area may subscribe to the newsletter. The newsletters contain summary information, including the project name, location and contact information. Full copies of the EIRs are available in the MTC-ABAG library at 101 8th Street, Oakland, CA, 94607-4756.
