    Interested in books, bridge, the arts, service, food or travel? We organize a wide range of intellectual, cultural and professional offerings and opportunities to interact with alumnae, wives, daughters and moms of past and current Stanford students in Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

2015-2016 Membership Year

A new season of exciting programs and activities awaits, and we invite you to join or renew your membership now for the current year by clicking on the join or renew link on the right hand side. Your annual membership entitles you to:

Attend SWCEB events at the lowest price, with priority for limited attendance events  Participate in any of our Special Interest Groups Receive a copy of and be listed in the annual SWCEB Directory Experience the intangible benefits of renewing old friendships and making new ones!  

Our annual Day on Campus is slated for Thursday, March 17.  We are planning to visit the Archeology Department Special Archives as well as the Virtual Reality Lab.  Spaces will be limited; more information will be available very soon.

This year's Spring Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, May 17, at Sequoyah Country Club in Oakland.  Our special guest speaker will be Stanford Professor Robert Hamrdla who will chat with us about the European Union.  More information will be available soon.

We have some other activities planned which are in the works - check back soon.

Finally, this spring, Stanford University is presenting Stanford+Connects, a chance to see President John Hennessy before he retires as well as to experience mini-lectures and reconnect with old and new friends.  The date is Saturday, May 21st, and registration has already opened.  You will be receiving a Stanford+Connects program mailer from the Stanford Alumni Association soon.
