Free and open to the public, the Yvor Winters Centenary program begins with a poetry reading Thursday at 6 p.m. in Annenberg Auditorium. Participants include Ken Fields, Thom Gunn, Donald Hall, Ann Hayes, Donald Justice, Helen Pinkerton and Dana Gioia, chair. A reception will follow.

On Friday and Saturday, eight consecutive daytime sessions will take place in Margaret Jacks Hall, where seating is limited. Panelists--many of them colleagues and students of Winters--will discuss his life and works, as well as the intellectual partnership of Winters and his wife, Janet Lewis.
