Windhover Saturday Tours

A docent-led tour of the Windhover, a spiritual and meditative refuge from the hustle and bustle of campus life. The tour will include information about the conceptual ideas behind the physical structure and an in-depth look at the Windhover paintings by Nathan Oliveira featured in the building.

Thursday Nights at the Anderson: Yoga and Art

This two hour event begins with a 50 minute Vinyasa Yoga Flow class that takes place on the lawn between the Cantor Arts Center and the Anderson Collection at Stanford. Following the class, Sheryl Nonnenberg, a Yoga Alliance-certified instructor, art researcher/writer and former collection manager of the Anderson Collection will lead an informal tour through the galleries. The evening will end with a quiet meditation seated in front of Robert Irwin’s mesmerizing sculpture, Untitled. Participants should have prior yoga experience and come prepared with a yoga mat.

Relay for Life

Relay for Life is a 24 hour event put on by Stanford's Colleges Against Cancer. This year Relay for Life is May 16 - 17 from 10 AM to 10 AM on Cobb Track at Angell Field.

The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.

Sexual Diversity and Health Symposium

Every year, the Weiland Health Initiative offers a FREE symposium on a topic related to gender and sexual diversity and health.  This year's event will focus on sexual diversity and health, and will feature topics such as polyamory, kink, sex positivity, HIV/AIDS and sexuality, transgender sexuality, and more, all explored through a health provider lens.  This event is the perfect opportunity to increase your clinical and cultural competence with the populations you serve.
