Summer Activities Fair

The WorkLife Office is proud to host its annual Summer Activities Fair for parents and grandparents seeking summer programs for their kids. More than 30 local vendors will be there to discuss their summer camps. This year's event also includes two breakout speaker sessions and raffle prizes!

Conversations on Compassion

In this dialogue CCARE’s founder and director, Dr. James Doty, will ask worldwide meditation teacher, Sharon Salzberg, about her life’s work and what role compassion may have played. This event is an hour-long dialogue followed by questions from the audience. 

Sharon Salzberg has been a student of meditation since 1971, and leading meditation retreats worldwide since 1974. She teaches both intensive awareness practice (vipassana or insight meditation) and the profound cultivation of lovingkindness and compassion (the Brahma Viharas).

Being A Conscious Sexual Self

Our sexuality is infused and intertwined with all aspects of our lives, and yet we are encouraged to see it as compartmentalized. Being a conscious sexual self means allowing your sexuality to inform you, energize you, inspire you and possibly heal you.
