Basic Custodial Services and Task Frequency

Cleaning and trash pickup occurs on a regular basis in each building as part of the Stanford contract with C & W Services. The frequency of each task depends on the type of room or area that is being serviced. Basic Task Definitions

NOTE: Services listed here are a basic guideline not specific to each building.

Collect Trash Includes removal of liner and replacement with new liner and cleaning of receptacle, as needed
Full Dusting Includes dusting all horizontal/vertical areas 6 ft and under, such as window sills, baseboards, bookshelves, partition tops etc.
This service does not include removal of personal items or cleaning blinds.
High Dusting Includes dusting surfaces, corner and doors above 6 ft to 12 ft high.
Spot Clean Includes cleaning marks from doors, walls, tabletops, glass, etc.
Spot Vacuum/Sweep Removal of visible debris from carpet or floors.
Full Vacuum/
Sweep & Mop		 Wall-to-wall vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping, including edges and corners.
