Sheri Dodd has over 21 years of experience in the development and conduct of health economics, outcomes research, clinical research, reimbursement and policy activities across the pharmaceutical, medical device and international public health sectors. Ms. Dodd joined Medtronic, Inc in March 2010 as Vice President for Reimbursement, Economics and Health Policy for the Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management (CRDM); Medtronic’s largest business. In March 2012, she was promoted to Global Vice President for Clinical Research, Reimbursement and Health Economics, reporting to the President of CRDM. In this role she is responsible for the design, execution and overall management of clinical and economics studies, evidence dissemination, as well as global reimbursement and health policy strategy and leadership, including evaluation of business development opportunities. Prior to joining Medtronic, Ms. Dodd spent 13 years at Johnson & Johnson in a variety of regional and global positions in both the Pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. She contributed over 50 publications including methodological and results orientated papers and played a leadership role in a number of J&J business growth initiatives. Prior to joining Industry, Ms. Dodd work for 5 years at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, with responsibility for the implementation of disease management and health policy interventions for 22 countries in the Arab Middle Eastern region. After returning to the U.S. she worked in clinical practice, implementing clinical office-based outcomes research studies in the area of orthopedics, internal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology. Ms. Dodd earned a joint masters of science degree from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and has completed several certificate programs from the University of York and Harvard School of Public Health.
