Dr. Lori Arviso Alvord
Dr. Alvord is the Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Professor of Surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Tucson, AZ. She also serves as Associate Faculty at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, at the Center for American Indian Health. Dr. Alvord received her doctorate of medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine, her residency at Stanford University Hospital, and is a board certified general surgeon.

Dr. Campbell's clinical expertise is in the area of General Surgery, Trauma Surgery and Critical Care. His current research interests include evaluating the efficacy of ventilator management strategies in patients with ARDS in conjunction with the Respiratory Therapy Division at SFGH. The goal of these studies is to determine if patients benefit from pressure control ventilation over volume control ventilation if they had acute lung injury.
