For the past decade, our lives have been transformed by the mobile revolution. According to the Boston Consulting Group, mobile already represents 11 percent of global GDP. So naturally, every company wants to become “mobile-first.” But what are the elements of mobile success?

This course provides a formula that makes it easy for any business to develop a strategy for creating mobile products that count: the body rule, to create beautiful mobile products; the spirit rule, to personalize mobile products to a user's mood and context; and the mind rule, to effectively adapt to the constantly evolving mobile landscape. These rules apply whether companies have already transitioned to mobile and seek to grow usage and revenue, or whether they are just getting started and are looking for a blueprint to launch and create a positive user experience. With the help of in-class group exercises, lectures, and prominent industry speakers from Facebook, Pandora, Lyft, Yelp, SAP, Trulia, and more, the course aims to provide hands-on experience in mobile product definition, design, and marketing. It is particularly relevant to entrepreneurs, product managers, marketers, and leaders who are working in mobile as well as those who seek to work on mobile projects.

Sophie-Charlotte Moatti, Founder and CEO, Products That Count

Sophie-Charlotte Moatti has been an executive at Facebook, Trulia, and Nokia, and currently works with businesses of all sizes to help them become mobile. She also serves on the board of Opera Software, a publicly traded mobile giant with more than a billion users. She received an MBA from Stanford and an MS in computer engineering and management science from Supélec (École supérieure d’électricité).
