Personal bio
Garry Gold received his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford in 1986. He received his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering in 1988, and MD from Stanford in 1992. He joined the Stanford faculty in 2000 and is currently an Associate Professor in Radiology and (by courtesy) Bioengineering and Orthopedic Surgery. He teaches classes and advises students from the undergraduate to postdoctoral level. His laboratory focuses on developing new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques for musculoskeletal disorders.
